Hiatus

You may have noticed that Remixed Magazine has not been updated for a while.

One of the problems with being a two-person, self-funded start-up is that one's responsibilities to one's landlord, utility providers and the bank that owns your car take precedence over your labor of love.

We're not out of business -- not even close. In fact, we have a backlog of completed interviews to write up that we just haven't had time to start, much less complete, at least not to our standards. PLEASE, continue to email us about bands and artists you love; artists, by all means, reach out and get to know us (we still care, honest); and we love to hear from potential interns and contributors.

We should be back up to speed in a a month or so, with features on Cloud Cult, Jeff Pevar and John Konesky. We also have standing agreements to interview Lisa Loeb and Dennis Diken of The Smithereens.

In the meantime we will be maintaining our blog, The Mix, posting on Twitter and Facebook, updating info on our current artists as time permits, and otherwise maintaining a Web presence.

We are in this for the long haul; so bookmark the blog, keep checking back, or join our mailing list for updates.
